How does it work?

Hypnotherapy to become smoke free is becoming more and more popular & therapy is often short-term and action led (Chrysalis 2010). I will ask you a range of questions in order to establish your past history with smoking, your motivations for quitting, danger points and whether you have tried alternative methods for quitting. Following this I will then create a tailor made screed which will focus on the reasons behind quitting. The screed is also likely to include the benefits you will gain being a non- smoker & alternative things to do when you find yourself in a position which would have previously made you light up.


Is it effective?

People do quit but they must want to make this change more than they want to smoke. Hypnosis allows access to the subconscious which is where the changes are going to take place. It will enable you to change old thought & behavioural patterns and replace them with new healthier ones. Therefore it is extremely possible for you to become a non-smoker.


Why will hypnotherapy work for me?

Many people choose hypnotherapy to quit smoking as they have tried other alternatives and failed. The reason they are likely to fail eventually is due to the subconscious mind still following behaviour patterns that have yet to be changed in order for the success of non-smoking to be maintained.
