How does it work?

Using hypnosis for self-development is extremely beneficial and it can have a positive impact on your life, well-being & happiness. For example sometimes past experiences can stand in the way of how we think, feel & behave in the present. Therefore the aim of the hypnotherapist here is to firstly establish the type of improvement that you wish to make. This could be as simple as trusting in your life & feeling free from anxiety about what might or might not happen in the future, or it could involve working on an area that is of specific concern to you like attracting the right type of people into your life. Or maybe you would like to heal from your past, or gain motivation for something you wish to achieve in the near future. There really are endless possibilities here.

Once we have addressed the area that you wish to work with we would then begin by perhaps changing your perception on past events (if this is necessary). We would then address the thoughts, feelings & behaviours that are required for you to reach the specific goals that you have in mind.

Is it effective?

I have discussed in the home page section of my website how what we learn & experience reflects the way we think, feel & behave, and why it is so difficult to change or reprogram how we think, feel & behave. Well using hypnosis allows us to access the subconscious where change is required to take place. If we access the subconscious and replace these old negative thoughts feelings & behaviours then eventually the new information begins to form as a habit and will become natural to you and you will begin to notice these changes on a conscious level. You will identify that you no longer react the same way to certain situations, and that you don’t tend to dwell on negativity. These changes will only be beneficial to you.

Can hypnotherapy work for me?

The answer to this question is likely to be yes because there is only a small minority of people that can’t be hypnotised (for further information on individuals that can’t be hypnotised please visit the home tab located at the top of this page). If you are motivated to make the change & willing to work with me then your goals are achievable.
